The Indiana Grantmakers Alliance offers services that will not
only increase the understanding of corporate philanthropy, but
also will enhance and/or develop a corporate giving program
that will yield identifiable results. The following services
are provided to corporate members by the Indiana Grantmakers
Alliance:
Information Gathering
Case
Study 
The Indiana Grantmakers Alliance offers a variety of research
and fact finding services for corporate foundations and/or
giving programs. This information includes but is not limited
to current statistics on corporate philanthropy, recent research
on issues affecting corporate grantmaking, and giving trends
surfacing in today’s corporate community. This information
is compiled from the Alliance’s in-house resources and
the elaborate state and national network of grantmakers, Regional
Associations of Grantmakers, and professional organizations
in the field.
Program Set-up
The Indiana Grantmakers Alliance provides the tools necessary
to assist any corporation with establishing a foundation or
giving program. These program set-up tools include but are
not limited to corporate grantmaking forms, guidelines, procedures,
and other materials necessary for program inception. They
have been created and enthusiastically implemented by corporations
throughout the country.
Program Management
Case
Study 
The Indiana Grantmakers Alliance offers materials and information
to corporations on managing a foundation and/or giving program.
These materials include but are not limited to “Best
Practices” and information on strategic corporate philanthropy,
community relations, and working with nonprofit organizations.
By utilizing the Alliance’s vast corporate network both
in Indiana and throughout the country, corporations are exposed
to the best management practices in the field.
Network Development
The Indiana Grantmakers Alliance provides activities and
events that encourage corporate peer networking. This includes
corporate donor-sponsored breakfast meetings, conferences
and seminars, and meeting forums for professional development.
These activities and events encourage communication among
colleagues while exposing the corporate philanthropist to
new and innovative ideas about corporate grantmaking.
Program Evaluation Support
The Indiana Grantmakers Alliance provides support to corporations
seeking evaluation for their corporate grantmaking and giving
efforts. This includes but is not limited to programs and
workshops about evaluation, outside referral to available
evaluators, and a links to grantmakers who have utilized evaluation
services in the past. The Alliance has the ability to direct
and refer corporations to both state and national evaluators.
Advocacy
The Indiana Grantmakers Alliance provides advocacy on behalf
of Indiana corporations. The Alliance maintains constant watch
over public policies in the state legislature, networks with
top state officials concerning corporate philanthropy, and
informs all corporate members of state action concerning changes
to corporate grantmaking regulations and laws. Furthermore,
the Alliance has the ability and position to leverage itself
within the state government to effectively engage in
